We used Mavis twice on different occasions. The first time was a birthday dinner for my husband. We were very impressed w/ Mavis’ cooking. I usually make reservations at a nice restaurant, but the food and the entire night was far superior than going out to eat. Mavis suggested different sides/ sauces based on what we liked. She was happy to fix anything I wanted. The food she prepared was the equivalent of a 5 star restaurant. We could relax while she was fixing dinner. Her friendly personality makes the experience so much fun. The second time Mavis cooked for us was for a Cinco de Mayo party. She made the burritos, homemade salsa, and desserts. Everyone at the party kept saying how good the food was. It was so nice- I cleaned for the party but didn’t have to do much grocery shopping nor cooking. Thanks Mavis!!!

Mavis provided a meal for 30. So easy for me delivered and ready to go. Everyone loved it wanted to know my secret! shh! don’t tell!

You catered the 50th anniversary party on August 10th at my daughter house for 32 people. The party was a huge success, and much of that was due to your catering expertise. Our daughters made excellent choices for the appetizers, salads and entree dishes and we were all very pleased with the presentation and the food. Italian beef sandwiches were perfect and you followed our answers to your questions to a “T”. Many of the guests were asking who did the catering snd we gladly gave them your name. Job well done.

We used Delish Dish for our daughter Laurel’s wedding to Kevin. Not only was everything delicious, her staff were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed being Mavis’ first! (Wedding, that is!) I highly recommend Mavis for your event, she really prepared what we wanted, and everyone at the wedding loved the dinner! Although I had procrastinated, I wanted to do something nice for my husband for his birthday dinner, and he always cooks for us and our friends. I thought about having dinner catered, but was nervous that he would be critical since he’s the chef in our house. I found Delish Dish online, and reached out to Mavis – within hours she had gotten back to me and was able to accommodate our event in a short amount of time. She worked with me on the menu for our guests, which included vegetarians, that was creative and  the food selections complimented each other and our upscale casual event. When the day arrived, the delivery and set up of the food was quick, clean, and the staff was professional and ensured we were ready for the evening. The food was incredible – everyone commented how delicious each course was! After our guests left for the night, my husband said he has been spoiled – he wants to cater all our events going forward! Mavis catered our wedding of 245 guests at the Contemporary Arts Center, and the food was amazing!!! We received many messages the next day with compliments of the food, specifically the best mashed potatoes ever. I honestly did not know exactly what I was looking for, but felt at ease after hearing the great options she had suggested. "The Delish dish was incredible from start to finish. The food was better than we could have ever imagined. We didn’t want stuffy boring chicken breasts but we also didn’t want just plain barbecue. Our menu of the brisket with bourbon peach glaze, Maple espresso pulled pork & all the comfort food sides exceeded every single expectation. People cannot stop talking about how good it was. And I want to have it again. Also, if it’s your vibe, do the hot chocolate bar and at least some of their desserts. Honestly a game changer. Best hot chocolate ever.
